Mother's Day Gift ideas

What to buy your mother for mother's day?

There's a few obvious choices such as flowers, chocolates and a lovely card, but if that's what you get her every year then why not think about getting her something different?

I've got a few favourite internet shops online that sell some really funky gadgets and gifts that will be very popular with your mum - Prezzy Box is one of my favourites and this year they've picked out a selection of great gift ideas that will go down a storm with your mum.

* Sun Jar - this is a lovely solar gift. When the Sun Jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar. Simple!

Made with a traditional Mason jar and high tech energy efficient lighting! Captured inside the jar are a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps.
This is so cute! What mum wouldn't love having some sunshine stored in a jar for the dark evenings?

* Naughty But Nice Lip Glosses
These are very cute little pots of lip gloss in the shape of yummy cake
  • 1 x Raspberry Cream gloss
  • 1 x Cream Tart gloss
  • 1 x Strawberry Cream gloss
  • 1 x Chocolate Cream Puff gloss

* Cotton Towel Cake - Strawberry Roll
What's this? It's a towel that looks like a cake! creatively and seductively packed as slices of delicious Chef’s choice patisserie and deli-styled miniature cakes and cake slices
They're really pretty!

* Complete Hair and Makeover Experience
Treat your mum to one of these great makeovers

* Rainbow Maker - I want one of these! genuine Swarovski crystal rotates and refracts sunlight to create rainbows and spectrums cascading around the room! Simply Beautiful to hang in the window that gets the afternoon sun!

* Spider Catcher - if she doesn't like picking spiders up and throwing them outside this is just the gadget for her

* Name a Rose
Name a rose after her!

* Hot Stone Therapy Pack - I want one of these too - I've read about stone massage in Isabel Losada's book The Battersea Park Road to Enlightenment and it sounds fantastic!
This river Stone Therapy Pack contains natural tumbled river pebbles, stress release massage oil, white cotton waffle cosmetic hair band, and a frosted glass relaxing fragranced candle urn.
* Home Pink Hot Sox
These are microwavable slippers - imagine lovely toasty warm slippers? I've got some of these and they are wonderful to slip on and relax with.

* The Pink Garden Kit - pink gardening tools! Very cute
* Personalised Calendar - give your mum a personalised calendar!

* Personalised Champagne - Slurp! Great idea -
* Mini Chocolate Fountain - Oooo Lovely and because it's smaller you'll use it more often without feeling like a pig! Ideal for when she's got no one to share chocolate with!
